Global Chairperson, AWJAN
In 2013, God gave me a revelation—clear, urgent, and prophetic—that the time had come for Africa’s true rebirth. But this rebirth would not come from political reform alone, nor from external aid or foreign policies. It would come from within—from her women. From her intercessors. From her womb carriers. From her daughters and mothers rising together in the power of the Gospel.
AWJAN is a divine response to a continental cry. It is God's instrument for rebuilding broken nations, restoring lost generations, and raising up righteous voices in every sector of society—from politics and education to business and family. Over the years, I’ve seen God move mountains. Women have awakened. Governments have opened their doors. Young people have caught the fire. And now, in 2025, we enter a new chapter—the decade of full function, framework, and fire.
This 10-Year Strategic Framework is a roadmap of obedience. Every line has been birthed in prayer. Every section was written with tears, testimonies, and the witness of the Holy Spirit. It captures not only the vision, but also the systems, the leadership, and the path to institution-building that will ensure this movement outlives all of us. We are building with generational foresight.
But my beloved daughters, sisters, and leaders across Africa and the nations—this work cannot be done by a few. It requires unity. It demands collaboration. This is not the time for silos or ego. This is the hour for synergy. We must think, act, pray, and build together. The enemy thrives in division, but God commands a blessing where there is unity (Psalm 133:1–3).
I call upon African women from every background—whether you are a preacher or a professional, a policymaker or a prayer warrior, a youth or an elder—to rise. Let your voice be heard. Let your hands build. Let your intercession shape history. Join the army of women who refuse to be silent in the face of corruption, injustice, or hopelessness. Together, let us disciple nations. Together, let us rewrite Africa’s story.
This is our time. This is our call. This is our commission. May this framework guide us, inspire us, and fuel us toward revival, restoration, and reformation. Africa shall be saved. Africa shall rise. And African women shall lead the charge.
Your Humble Servant,
Archbishop Dr. Matilda G. Tarr
This 10-Year Strategic Framework provides the structural, operational, and spiritual roadmap for African Women for Jesus to All Nations (AWJAN). It transforms prophetic revelation into an actionable plan for institution-building, leadership development, and continental transformation through African women. This framework ensures AWJAN fulfills its divine assignment with clarity, consistency, and impact across generations.
AWJAN was birthed through prophetic revelation to Archbishop Dr. Matilda G. Tarr in Liberia in 2013, declaring that Africa's restoration hinges on the mobilization of African women to rise for Jesus. Officially launched in January 2020 in Liberia, the movement has since reached 25 countries and engaged churches, governments, and individuals across the continent and diaspora. Rooted in biblical stories of transformation—like Noah, Moses, Joseph, David, and Jesus—AWJAN positions itself as a prophetic vessel for Africa’s reformation.
2025 marks the beginning of AWJAN’s decade of full function, framework, and fire. The vision is no longer a seed—it is a growing tree. The time is urgent. Africa must be restored through women’s prophetic leadership, spiritual warfare, and system penetration. This framework transitions AWJAN from event-based activities to institutionalized systems that deliver sustainable impact at national, continental, and global levels.

The vision became a reality through the official launch of African Women For Jesus To All Nations (AWJAN) in the Republic of Liberia on January 27th-31st 2020 by great women of Africa and the world at large.
The Prophetic Word for Africa has came to pass and we are confident that this is the time for Africa to rise across the globe.
It is time to bring light to the world and this will continue to manifest through our unity in Christ and the impact we should make in our time and season annually under the banner of African Women for Jesus To All Nations.
The vision-bearer has managed to spread the message of the vision to governments of states, churches, people of Liberia and 21 countries of the world in Africa and other continents through written communications, social media, telephone
calls, emails and most importantly God the Holy Spirit who spoke to the hearts of many who ran, worked, supported and continue to support and run with this great vision.
About Ten (10) years ago, it was revealed to Archbishop Dr. Matilda G. Tarr of the Republic of Liberia, West Africa that if Africa should unite and move forward, women from every corner of Africa and the World at large must stand up for Jesus. In the spirit of this promising and impactful woman of God Archbishop Dr. Matilda G. Tarr, with so much to offer her generation, country, continent and the world at large, moving with the vision to change and rewrite the story of Africa and liberate its people, received the clarity in October of 2018 alongside other great women of God who understood and saw the importance to run with it.
This vision, it's not like any others' vision. Where by people send for you, pay your tickets, Hotel, other spends and give you an honorary, no, it not. We must take over the responsibility. This one, we must make the sacrifice to share the message of rebranding African youths. As God people, we must all do something about this movement. We all are supposed to be in this great movement. No matter who you are or the vision you are carrying, we must do it to save African generational leaders. If you don't go who will, they are like sheep who are looking for a shepherd to guide them through..
That God reveal each time I am ask by any one that there are five stories Noah, Moses, Joseph, David and Jesus himself, these stories in the Bible are stories that, the vision was given them, that people doubted them, today we all know Jesus Christ. Mary give birth to Jesus Christ that we call today our Savior. These stories give you a clear cut that is African Time, that if we don’t do anything about it, its prophecy will not be fulfilled. Every prophecy God give is an action and step taken, if you go through Noah story, Noah keep speaking and the people didn’t listen. Moses, Joseph his brother didn’t believe his dream, the road that lead to his destruction it was a road that led to his destiny, David was a shepherd boy and working on his father sheep in dungeon before the prophecy came. hen Jesus came as a savior, he came and not recognize he was born in the animals' den. But all these stories the messages given the awareness that were made and the people still doubted, the message. These messages still came to pass, nothing could stop these stories coming to pass. So today is the same as African Women for Jesus to All Nation, Africa shall be saved, Africa preserved, African restored, it's by you and me, to gathering together with one mind, one language, one spirit, one voice, can restore Africa.
Became a reality through the official launch of African Women for Jesus in the Republic of Liberia on January 27th-31st 2020 by great Women of Africa and the world at large.
A number of prophesies about Africa came to pass, and we are convinced that this is the time for Africa. It is time to bring light to the world and this has been and will continue to be manifested through our unity in Christ and the impact we should make in our time and season annually under the banner of “African Women for Jesus To All Nations”.
The Vision bearer, within a period of few years from January 2020 till present, the vision had expanded to the Governments, Churches and People of Liberia and twenty-five (25) Countries of the world both in Africa and other Continents through written communications, social media interactions, telephone calls, emails and most importantly the spirit of God that spoke to the hearts of many who have ran, worked, supported and continue to support and run with this vision. Vision to unite Africa through Christ Jesus under Biblical principles beyond colour and location as we are all brethren in Christ. Igniting Africa for Jesus and showing case the talents and gifts of African of all sectors, which will indeed drive the developmental agenda of a United Africa.
Create a forum for African women across the globe in which women are working in collaboration to:- Sharpen each other in their gifting and calling to accomplish their goals in the Commune of Nations. - Stand in the gap for their various churches, ministries and nations in Africa.- Inspire African women to pursue their God-given passion, live their dreams through God’s plan and purpose, walking in one Godly purpose to make positive impact worldwide.- Convene annually (January last week) to pray for African Leadership (Governments, Entities, NGO’s, Youths and generational leaders of Africa) as well as pronounce declarations of peace and unity upon the continent.-Empower Young African (Youths) gradually by internationally-acclaimed leaders and trainers that has the ability of enabling them become leaders for the next generation. We also embrace ideas which will assist to improve the efforts of the movement.-To discover deeper revelations of God’s Word for more Biblical knowledge to provide contemporary and practical teachings and trainings to young emerging leaders that Africa can depend on for her transformation and progress. Stand together in Jesus Christ and worship in our beautiful culture, pray and learn about our Savior, which would make us stronger because togetherness is what we need to build a modern Africa free of Corruption and bad governance. To reach out to all nationals, from different religious beliefs and denominations as we need to lead all to Salvation to enjoy the benefits of the Gospel of the Good News of Jesus Christ -This is a vision to gather God’s army, especially female generals, from all over Africa and the world at large, to pray for the unity of the continent, Spiritual and economic liberations of its inhabitants.- Seeking improvement of the lives of young people in every Nation, through the anticipated apportion funds from the conference and the Foundation.
YOUTHS CAPACITY BUILDING: Our major goal, in this assignment, is the hope for this movement, is that:
It will gradually transform African mentality towards governance and nation building and that every woman will experience the power of unity and share Christ to all, as we will be sharpening each other, as a man sharpen in our interactions.
This will ultimately change the negative impact and perceptions over the continent towards its unity and peace.
To enable African Women to discover their own purpose through Christ, gain better understanding of their vision of Africa and their various assignments as well as their personal lives. To grow in mind, heart and attitude towards kingdom principles and expose the kingdom of God in a greater way To effectively communicate the importance of emotional, spiritual and physical well-being towards a purposeful life that will help transform lives as we overcome some of the struggles and afflictions women face during their journey to walk in God’s purpose and destiny fulfillment.
To partner with the government and its functionaries across Africa for a joint liberation of Africa and African generational leaders, because in “Union Strong, Success is Sure”.
African Women For Jesus To All Nations understands the significance of those who labor for the Kingdom of God, and therefore hosted the first celebratory, honoring and Award Component in Liberia on 31st January 2020 where 27 individuals and five (5) Entities from Tanzania, Canada, Netherlands, Nigeria, Cameroon, USA, and Liberia were honored and awarded for their various outstanding kingdom stewardship contributions to God’s creation. The second honouring and award ceremony was held in Freetown, Republic of Sierra Leone, on the 18th of March 2021 at the closure of the official Launched of AWJAN in that West African Country. We now on our fourth, AWJAN Honoring and Award, component is major and it will continue at every gathering of African Women for Jesus, because, it is important to reward and recognize those who are faithful stewards in promoting the Kingdom’s work. These awards are also designed to encourage stewardship, which edifies the Kingdom of God as well as impacts the communities and nations that we live in.
The courage to explore other countries in quest for nation building pushes us to be brave and resourceful. We return to our respectful homes with a sense of pride as women who have accomplished.
During the mission trips to other nations, we discover new speakers who also share their personal journeys and experiences as well as provide a new perspective from a meaningful point of view on what we desire to hear from God. New perspectives will also inspire and challenge us in many ways towards nation-building. African Women for Jesus to All Nations is geared towards working with all women groups, ministries, and organizations in every country around the globe.
Association is encouraged to edify the work of the Kingdom of God, with no intention of changing their individual visions and goals.
